Another fight with her twin. It wouldn't surprise anyone who knew them. They had been fighting since they were young. They had hated eachother for years. That they would fight was just something to be expected. Cara bit her lip as she looked into the cafeteria. Her sister would be in there with her little clique of friends and following of boys. If Cara really wanted she could have her own group. She just had chosen a little more decency than her twin. She didn't want her sister's life though. She liked her own as normal as it was.
Cara turned away from the cafeteria and started walking. She usually ate in there with some of her own friends, but they would forgive her for skipping out today. In fact, they would understand compeltely and even tell her to go. One of the reasons she loved her friends. She wished that Jeremy was there. He was her ally. That and he was fun to be around in general. She loved her big brother, even if he was overly protective. Cara smiled at that thought. He meant well, he really did, but sometimes it was also nice to not have her brother around. It meant more freedom.
Cara decided to take a chance. She knew where the greasers went and ate. She wasn't one of them. That was true. She just hoped they wouldn't mind her appearing out of nowhere. She didn't know how they'd take it. They might be really friendly. They might be standoffish. They might just shun her or try to kick her out. Any way things ended up, Cara was going to go to the Pizza Place. She could use a change of pace. It had been a long time coming. Guess that time had finally come.
