Twenty-one years since the final battle has passed and finally the wizarding world is at peace once more. When Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort once and for all he was able to restore the happiness and strength of the people. With the help of the others in a few years everyone was less frightened and didn't have to worry about the death eaters or even Voldemort coming for their loved ones. They could live their lives without the fear of not knowing how limited their time was.
After the final battle Professor Mcgonagall stayed at Hogwarts and was made Headmistress. A few changes to staffing have been made but many have decided to stay. Now the Trio is grown and have children of their own, all in Hogwarts at once. Harry's oldest son is in part of the final stage of his schooling and just like his grandfather and his father at the same time. He has the same dislike for Slytherins but they are tolerable. James Potter looks forward to a normal school year but he is not ready for what lies ahead of him.
In the heart of London there is a new evil growing and the death eaters that were once in hiding are now coming out. The Order knows of these appearances of the people who had once terrorized the wizarding world and everyone in it but they keep it hidden from everyone who doesn't know. They have no idea of who is behind them but they have plenty of ideas and people they still haven't tracked down. A search is conducted and Raids take place but still no one knows who is drawing old death eaters out and why they're doing it. They only know that they want to track this person down and put a stop to it before it's too late.
Whispers of a new dark lady are spread but her name remains unknown to everyone except those who are following her. It is quietly even with these rumors going around, that is until the disappearances start. When Filius Flitwick and Hagrid turn up dead panic is restored and no one thinks they are safe. The same precautions as when Voldemort was around are taken and people are fearing for their lives again. The death eaters are recruiting in secret and their numbers are growing again. It's not as if the order isn't one step ahead of they. They are rapidly growing, even those who didn't fight or were on the opposing side are willing to fight or spy on those who they had once sided with.
It all looks like they are right back where they started. No one can be trusted and no one wants to trust anyone either. You never know who will help you or who you will turn you in. It's all about loyalty and love for everyone or everything you hold dear. The only question is will anyone be able to stop this newly growing threat?
